- Employers may also interview and recruit
Washington and Lee students (along with students from 11 other top
liberal arts colleges), using SLAC (Selective Liberal Arts
Consortium) interviewing days in five cities on the East
Coast (and a West Coast virtual fair).
- BARC (Big
Apple Recruiting Consortium) is another consortium that
gathers employers from the communications, law, and nonprofit fields,
to meet students from 9 liberal arts colleges (including Washington and
Lee). The event takes place in New York each February.
- LACN (Liberal
Arts Career Network) Consider listing your openings for
full-time or internship positions with the innovative Liberal Arts
Career NetWORK (LACN) consortium of 28 highly selective colleges,
including Washington and Lee. This free, nationally acclaimed program
allows employers to submit listings which are then shared with the
consortium schools. Students will have access to your posting and will
contact you directly. No distant campus visits, no time-intensive
search---you maintain control over the interview selection process.
